As the name suggests, this expansion focused on the powerful Dragon type, featuring over 20 Dragon Pokémon including Salamence-GX, Dragonite-GX, and Kingdra-GX. The set brought back the "Prism Star" mechanic for a second round, introducing the powerful "Lance Prism Star" which could summon dragons directly from the deck.

Quagsire and the Water Toolbox

Surprisingly, for a set about dragons, one of the most impactful cards was the Water-type "Quagsire." Its "Wash Out" ability allowed players to move water energy from benched Pokémon to the active spot as often as they liked. This ability, paired with the energy acceleration of Naganadel (from Lost Thunder, released shortly after), created a "Water Toolbox" archetype that could power up any attacker in a single turn. Of course, the chase cards were the stunning Full Art and Rainbow Rare versions of Reshiram-GX and Salamence-GX, which remain favorites for dragon collectors.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0950/1451/9121/collections/logo_square_7a3ebc35-f224-4268-bd38-9019db7d1ce8.png?v=1767889796
