Instead of a regular Grimmsnarl ex, you can now collect and play with "Marnie's Grimmsnarl ex" ! This creates a deeper connection between Pokémon and their trainers, giving both collectors and competitive players a new reason to dive into the game.
An important detail in this expansion is that Owner Pokémon cards can only be evolved from specific cards within the same line . For example, Marnie's Grimmsnarl former must evolve from Marnie's Morgrem - it cannot evolve from a regular Morgrem. This makes strategy even more crucial, giving a new dimension to both deckbuilding and the gaming experience.
