Mewtwo & Mew-GX Unite in Unified Minds

Two minds are better than one, as proven by the release of Sun & Moon—Unified Minds on August 2, 2019. This massive expansion introduced the ultimate TAG TEAM: "Mewtwo & Mew-GX." With its "Perfection" ability, which allowed it to copy the attacks of any Pokémon-GX in your discard pile or on your bench, it became the most versatile card in the game. Players could tech in almost any GX attack to answer any situation, making it a nightmare to play against.

Reset Stamp and the End of Fairness

While Mewtwo & Mew-GX was the face of the set, the most hated (and played) card was arguably "Reset Stamp." This item card forced your opponent to shuffle their hand into their deck and draw cards equal to their remaining prize cards. When played in the late game, it could reduce an opponent's hand to one or two cards, effectively erasing their resources and allowing for impossible comebacks. Sun & Moon—Unified Minds was a set of extreme power swings, where no lead was ever truly safe.
